In the 1900s several books were written about hunting in Lakeland, the most well known of these authors was Richard Clapham who wrote a series of books, which still stand the test of time. These were illustrated with pictures taken with his camera.

Some of these pictures are of recognisable places and the object of this section is to show how little the sites have changed since these original pictures were taken.
